Assessment Category: Va. Category 5A: A Water Quality Standard is not attained. The water is impaired or threatened for one or more designated uses by a pollutant(s) and requires a TMDL (303d list).
Impairments: Fecal Coliform

DEQ ambient monitoring station 3-DPR004.93, at Route 752.

Historical Note: DEQ station 3-DPR004.93 was added as a special study based on the 1998 303(d) listing of Deep Run.

Fecal coliform monitoring finds a bacterial impairment, resulting in an impaired classification for the recreation use. The aquatic life and wildlife uses are considered fully supporting. The fish consumption use was not assessed.
